Klínovec Ski Resort

Up the slopes of the Klínovec Ski Resort!

Just a snowball’s throw away from the German border lies the Klínovec Ski Resort. The largest ski resort in the Krušné Mountains have long been a popular place to spend a wonderful winter holiday surrounded by beautiful nature. Just choose from among the several slopes of varying difficulty levels and enjoy the ride.

Due to its high altitude, the Klínovec Ski Resort traditionally offers excellent snow conditions throughout the winter season. You can hone your style here on 12 kilometres of groomed slopes. You will be taken up to the top by three chairlifts and seven ski lifts.

Eleven slopes, countless adventures

Whether you are a beginner or are unfazed by steep slopes, the Klínovec Ski Resort offers plenty of options. Of the eleven slopes, six are blue, four are red and one is black. But those who prefer snowboarding to skiing are also in luck. At the new snow park you can enjoy a U-ramp of the FIS Superpipe class and plenty of obstacles. Also awaiting you here are rails and boxes on snow prepared by a Rolba snow machine.

Hop on some skis

Would you like to jump on the Klínovec slopes but you don’t have your own skis? Don’t despair! There is an equipment rental available here. There is also a ski school and plenty of snack bars, restaurants and an umbrella bar. Of course there is plenty of free parking. If you are more into cross-country skiing, you can head off to explore the region on 30 kilometres of perfectly groomed trails.

Where else to go?

Could there be anything better after an active day of skiing than to completely unwind? Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of fragrances, essences and colours at one of the wellness hotels in the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary. You can also head to the nearby Jáchymov, which went down in medical history as the very first radon spa in the world.
